Cordelia Wolf holds a Bachelors of
Liberal Arts Degree in Psychology from
Loyola Marymount University and is
pursuing her graduate studies at the
University of San Francisco studying
Counseling Psychology specializing in
Marriage and Family Therapy. Cordelia is
a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor
and Relapse Prevention Specialist. She
is an Equine Guided Educator and works
out of Sonoma County with a number of
private and non-profit organizations
specializing in Horse Sense for
Teens-at-Risk, youth struggling with
eating disorders and young adults in
recovery.
Alecia Singer, MA, MFT, received her
Masters Degree in Counseling
Psychology from California Institute of
Integral Studies in 2003. Since then she
has been working in a variety of clinical
settings with adults, children, families
and groups addressing issues of
addiction, eating disorders and body
image. She is especially interested in
how eating disorder/body image issues
affect women’s health and life cycle
transitions through adolescence,
pregnancy, menopause and illness.
Alecia believes that optimal health
comes from integrating mind, body and
spirit and incorporates expressive arts
therapy, movement, guided imagery and
mindfulness into her practice.
Dr. McCabe has been working with
clients recovering from eating disorders
(anorexia, bulimia, compulsive/binge
eating), body image difficulty, and other
addictions (alcoholism, codependency)
since 1999. She has worked with
residential, intensive outpatient, and
outpatient settings. She completed her
masters from New College in 1998 and
is currently completing her doctorate at
the Institute of Imaginal Studies. Her
doctoral work focuses on re-image-ing
the body using expressive arts. She
brings the practices of the 12 steps,
spirituality, and expressive arts to her

Jamie Lieber, M.S., L.Ac., is a California
board-certified acupuncturist and
practitioner in Chinese herbal medicine.
She received her BA in Kinesology from
the University of Colorado in 1998 and an
MS in Chinese Medicine from the America
College of Traditional Chinese Medicine
(TCM) in 2006. in 2008, Jamie created an
innovative program at New Dawn's
residential recovery center in San
Francisco. Her holistic approach
combined acupuncture, meditation and
yoga to help patients develop a healthy
and balanced relationship with their

A former restaurant chef, Katherine
Dittmann holds a Masters of Science
Degree in Nutrition Science from San
Jose State University and is a Registered
Dietitian. Katherine has been working in
residential treatment for eating disorders
since 2006 and more recently in intensive
outpatient with adults. Her treatment
approaches include intuitive eating,
mindful eating, and solid nutrition
education to counter mixed messages.
She has also written several food-related
and general interest articles for a local
magazine and is a certified yoga
instructor.

Michelle Fortunado, MSW, received her
Master’s degree in Social Work in 2008
from the University of Southern
California. She is Co-Chair of the School
Liaison Committee that provides
information about eating disorders to
schools in the Bay Area. She also works
with the schools to set up body image and
eating disorder presentations for school
staff, parents and/or students. She has
experience in providing individual, group
and family counseling children and
adolescents. She also works as a family
therapist at Asian American Recovery
Services, Inc., in San Mateo County.
Jane Wong is a current undergraduate
student at San Francisco State University
studying Psychology, Counseling and
Sexuality Studies. Eventually, she would
like to pursue a Masters Degree in
Counseling and a Psy.D in Clinical
Psychology. Her goal is to work with
sexual assault survivors with eating
disorders, because she has seen the
affect that both can have on people
mentally and physically. She currently
works as a volunteer for APTEED, and is
part of the school liaison committee,
making contact with counselors at
various Bay Area schools.
Karly Kaplan received her BA in
Psychology from U.C. Berkeley. She also
holds an MA in counseling Psychology
and is currently a candidate for a
doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the
California School of Professional
Psychology/Alliant in San Francisco.
Karly is particularly interested in boosting
self-esteem in children as a
preventative measure against eating
disorders, and is the author of “The
Power of Two”, a curriculum for mother-
daughter dyads to prevent body image
dissatisfaction. Karly has been treating
clients with body image challenges and
promoting body esteem for over 15 years,
in Britain and the United States.

Studies in San Francisco. Shannon has
been working with women and and
adolescents who are recovering from
eating disorders, compulsive overeating,
anorexia, bulimia, and body image issues
since 2006. She has been a co-facilitator
of eating disorder groups at Beyond
Hunger in San Rafael and currently works
with individuals at APTED and The Marina
Counseling Center. She offers an
authentic, collaborative and interactive
approach that supports each person’s
unique path of recovery.unique path of

Nicole Bertucci received her Bachelors
degree in Sociology from UC Santa
Barbara in 2005, and is currently
completing a Master's degree in
Counseling Psychology with an
emphasis in Depth Psychology from
Pacifica Graduate Institute. Nicole has
facilitated an ANAD support group for
women suffering from eating disorders.
Her goal is to work with individuals and
groups whose lives have been touched
by eating disorders, as well as working to
provide education and prevention efforts.
